MY HEART

I remembered my heart today,
Funny how I've been feeling funny,
And i sent an umbrella,
An umbrella of love,
To shelter my heart from heartbreak,
Yet shower it with care.

I knew i should have,
A card, a bouquet of flowers of flowers perhaps,
But time is slow and man errs,
Nevertheless i trusted my instincts,
I sent a thousand kisses and an angel to hold it.

It was raining heavily,
I could see her in the hailstones,
Hopefully and longingly waiting,
If my umbrella doesn't reach,
May my prayers protect my heart,
My so loved heart
